New Year...

Blogs crack me up, they spur me on, they put the itch in my crafty side, they provide endless eye candy for beautiful clothes, home decorating and everything else you can think of. I love it and hate it, it takes up too much of my "me" time sometimes... With all of that said, I made a short New Year's resolution list, even if it is a little cheesy, because I think it is good for the soul to make some goals in life. I thought they were pretty good, until I read this awesome ladies resolutions or revolutions, she calls it.

So I was inspired to add to my list or just revise it a bit. Here they are...
Exercise 3 times a week
Read the Message Bible in a year
Be intentional with relationships
Linger less (on the internet & other media) and do more (as in serve, learn, teach, sew, craft)
No spend month
Nurture and teach my children
Cook a new recipe per week
Learn how to use my camera

And January was my no spend month... it's over thankfully! I have realized in my days that I am a bit of a shopaholic. Not always on super expensive things or anything like that. But just things here and there, this ten dollar shirt and those shoes, this fabric and that gadget. I am a sucker for good deals, no, amazing deals! Anyhow, I had a friend keep me accountable and she actually joined in on the fun, thanks Tessa! A confession, I did spend about seven dollars in unauthorized funds, oops! At least it was on two books for my kids. I think I have learned a lot by the way...
