Reading, reading, reading... 

Here is my stack and I actually just finished the middle three. Working on the Message bible in a year and the NASB is what I use for further study and such. Which, by the way, the Bible Translations book says I should do as it is a "translation" into common language of our day. It is quite entertaining. 

Heaven is for Real was incredible and I totally recommend it. An easy and fast read about a boy who went to heaven for "3 minutes." :) So sweet and precious, energizing and gave me a new insight to heaven.

Amusing ourselves to Death would probably be irritated that I am blogging... haha. No really it is a great book. It opened my eyes to how far our culture has veered off into tech-no land and really has no care or thought for the most important things. It was written in the 80s but could clearly be used for the current times. Although he doesn't speak highly of religion or faith, or the importance of it, it still has completely valid points about our society. I don't think I would be best at describing this book so maybe you should check amazon.com for better analysis.
